BEGINNERS, INTERMEDIATE & ADVANCED GLASS BEADS

Learn the fascinating art of glass beadmaking. This is a very comprehensive beginners workshop using the torch to create beautiful beads, starting with a very simple bead, progressing to surface design and numerous shapes. Each student will produce and design beads adding stripes of colors, dots and manipulating color patterns. You will create anywhere between 1 to 2 dozen beads depending on proficiency. All materials included.
THIS CLASS WILL BE HELD ON WEDNESDAYS, THURSDAYS OR SATURDAYS

Now that you are proficient in making a basic glass bead with designs and shapes, you are ready to expand your knowledge. In the intermediate class you will be taught Lensing, adding shape and dimension to the color patterns in your beads; Stringers, creating multi-color stringers and the poking technique (inserting stringers into beads and their effects); Marving, the art of shaping your bead's exterior, such as teardrop shapes & tubular pendants. All materials included.
Pre-requisite:  Beginners class or some experience in beadmaking.

GLASS BEADS - ADVANCED CLASS

This class concentrates on Twists & Latticcinos, learning how to create & utilize these beautiful techniques; Hollow Beads, making beads that trap air like a balloon; and Floral techniques to create flowers within the bead. All materials included.
Pre-requisite: Intermediate class or extensive experience in beadmaking.
