Create a two or three dimensional art glass project. Beginner class including hands on and lecture in the techniques of fusing and slumping art glass. Learn simple to intricate cutting techniques, how to layer the glass to form vases, plates, bowls or wall art. Kiln and mold preparation, the do's and don'ts of firing your project plus firing schedules. Tutorial and all materials included.

NOTE: Teens and pre-teens from the age of 12 and up will now be able to attend the adult classes. Childrens classes will be held for groups or parties only.

DESIGN ELEMENTS IN FUSING -- ADVANCED CLASS

In this class we will explore the various elements that can be used for design in a fusing project. The student will create design incorporating copper wire, fine, coarse and medium frit, stringers, confetti, mica, noodles,  dichroic glass,  aluminum, brass and copper sheeting. Experimenting in shading and multi firings with numerous layers will also be explored. All materials included.
Student must be experienced in fusing.
